Date: Tue, Jul 3rd, 2012 12:00:00 am

A positive shift has occurred amongst health minded individuals in the past few years thanks to health pioneers like Victoria Boutenko, regarding the awareness of the benefits of green leafy vegetables. Now I find that many people are already enjoying green smoothies regularly or have at least heard of them. It's especially evident at the grocery store, where kale was used mostly to decorate the display at the seafood counter, but now through greater demand, it's a well stocked item.

You are strong minded, sensitive and brilliant. You wear many hats, juggle many things, and you make it look easy. You are a woman. And as a woman you want to look good. Perhaps a woman's desire to maintain her looks is natures way of urging us to live well. There are all kinds of bizarre products designed to artificially enhance the female form. Pummel Pewy Pits

Date: Fri, Nov 8th, 2013 12:00:00 am

There's something I have to tell you. Despite my healthy diet and lifestyle, I am prone to stinky arm pits. At least I use to be until I discovered essential oils. I stopped using chemical deodorants and antiperspirants in 2004 after learning how toxic they are to the body. I then spent the next 8 years trying different "natural" options only to end up skunked before the day was done. I want to shout this from the roof top: essential oils kill body order!!! I wish someone had told me back then.

How to Structure Your Exercise for Success

Date: Mon, Mar 7th, 2016 12:00:00 am

Last weekend while in Waterloo I joined my Dad for a workout at his gym. It's always special when we have time to exercise together.

We had a conversation about when during the workout to incorporate his rotator cuff exercises (rehab) and stretches.

Later, I was inspired to create this chart below to show how to structure a workout so as not to forget any important components but also to ensure they are performed in the most beneficial sequence.

With a salad or as a side dish, if you like spice, you'll love this dish from the book Made with Lovem by Kelly Childs and Erinn Weatherbie of Burlington, ON. I've not been to their restaurant/ bakery yet, but I can hardly wait to go!
